TT trainer 60 w/flaperons!
 

I wasnt sure which forum would be best to tell everyone about this so i just picked aerobatics....

After i got my hitec flash 5x for my birthday march 6th ive been discovering new things about it since. The other day i found out it could do flaperon/spoileron mixing using the 5th channel. This got me thinking....i had planned on putting duel aileron servos on my trainer (TT trainer 60) anyway.....and i've always wanted flaps just cause' their neat..hmmm. So tonight i was sitting there looking at my wings and i though "you know, i bet i could put another sevo right in next to that one" so i peeled back some of the covering and cut a little hole in the wood and sure enough....so i cut out a space and glued on a piece of plywood for the servo to bolt to, put one of my airtonics servos in there and voiala`! I have the radio all set up and the throws set and ready to go so tomorrow we'll fire her up and go see what we can do. I'll post back and let you guys know how she performs. lets hope i dont have to post it in the crash forum!
